Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach has been an important feature of the seafront since 1909 and is one of the East Coast’s best visitor attractions.
Today, an exciting mix of white-knuckle and child-friendly rides makes the Pleasure Beach ideal for a fun family day out when staying or living nearby to Hemsby or Great Yarmouth. More information on the available rides and height limits are available on the Pleasure Beach website here: https://pleasure-beach.co.uk/rides
For thrill-seekers, the Pleasure Beach is also the home of one of the few remaining wooden roller coasters which employs the skills of a brakeman. The ride is virtually unique as the brakeman is required to ride with the train to control its speed as there are no brakes on the track. It is the second tallest and fastest wooden roller coaster in the UK!.
