What is there to do in Hemsby?
Hemsby is a wonderful small seaside village in Norfolk with around 3,000 residents! Hemsby is located only a few miles from the north of Great Yarmouth. Hemsby is full of activities to do for you and the family so we have listed a few of our favourites to visit whilst you are visiting Hemsby for your stay-cation:
Hemsby Beach is a beautiful sand beach separated from the sea by huge sand dunes. With long stretches of sea and sand you can see why it is so popular for people to visit throughout the year.
You can’t visit a british seaside town and not visit the amusements! There is a wide selection of wonderful arcades on the seafront to have a little fun! There is also a Fun Park located nearby which has a whole host of rides for the little and big kids of the family!
Mini Golf is a wonderful pastime especially whilst you are waiting for a few clouds to pass by and the sun to appear again! Great fun for all of the family.
A family fun park which is ideal for all different age groups, you can have hours of fun enjoying walking around the mega maze, or meeting the farmers and going on a tractor and trailer ride around the farm, or even racing your family around in the go-karts. If reading all of those activities has tired you out, there is even a shop and Cafe as well if you are looking for some quiet time!
If you have spent the whole day at the beach soaking up some sun or building sand castles with the kids and you are looking for somewhere to eat, The Lacon Arms is perfectly situated. The Lacon Arms is set just a road back from the beachfront meaning it isn’t very far to walk to before sitting down for some good food and drinks! If you’re enjoying mooching around the shops and exploring everything which Hemsby has to offer, Club Belle is the perfect place to enjoy classic food dishes, see the big tent, and enjoy daily entertainment.
